UT Austin siren test #1.

This is a video of the monthly siren test at the University of Texas at Austin. I heard the siren indoors, and from 5 miles away, and man, they are powerful! Recorded from the Communications Building.

No, Federal Signal now makes only the 2001/Model2/Eclipse8/EclipseNH mechanical sirens, and for electronic, it's now only the Modulator and DSA, because of the UltraVoice controller, while the Siratone-612 only used the Siratrol, which is no longer made.

No they don't, but if they did, it would be on custom order. 2 is the smallest array, 6 is the largest, and they used to have 7 and 8 speaker cells, but were dropped due to cost.

Err.. not to be a jerk or anything, but the ACTUAL world's loudest, the Chrysler Air Raid siren had a sound output of 138db. Credit should be given where it's due.
