"American Profile: Home Country, USA," narrated by Chet Huntley, originally aired in that time slot on April 5, 1968 and was repeated at the same time on July 5, 1968. It sounds like the voiceover was Fred Collins. (The use of Melior Italic [for times and "The Full Color Network"; Melior Bold for show titles) by NBC was de rigueur in 1967-68; it was the following season that they began using Helvetica Medium for their on-air promos, and putting the "snake" logo in a box.)

Fred Collins was an NBC staff announcer from the late '40s through the early '80s, 'Sheri'- he later moved to ABC, and retired a few years ago.
