Here's a short video I put together to test a video compression workflow and I thought I'd upload it. The clips were shot with a Panasonic HDC-SD1 AVCHD camcorder at a press trip to Lanzarote organised by Panasonic Europe, late 2006. They were shot in 1440x1080i HD onto a 1GB SDHC card. Edited on an Intel Mac with Premiere Pro CS4 and compressed for web at 720p using Elgato turbo 264.HD.

does the turbo.264 convert avchd files to something an imac7.1 (a computer with a little less RAM and processor than the new ones) could edit in imovie09?
