I feel that if play Bach 846 only, no need this part, but if play for Ave Maria, you need add this part, otherwise, it will not match Gounod’s song. I thought this part was added just for Ave Maria.

there is a mistake. you play the wrong chord at 1:37 (a lot of people seem to get this chord wrong)

There is a good reason for "a lot of people [including concert artists] seem to get this chord wrong)." We are playing the most widely accepted edition. Footnote in Schirmer's edition: "The Schwenke manuscript inserts a measure that has become generally accepted":
In classical piano, such discrepancies are not uncommon.

i think here is a little mistake in 1:40 .
the correct keys are : A - C- D(Flat)

@MrTsikara there are no D-flats in my score. Eb is correct because Db would sound really weird :)
