What a beautiful rendition of this song! I was at a memorial yesterday for a lovely Scottish man; his daughter sang this song as a tribute to her father and did a wonderful job too. Compliments to John Douglas ... you've truly written one for the ages! Compliments to Eddi Reader too ... I love her version and it is now like an old friend to me.

Could never decide whether I preferred the Eddie Reader or the Trashcan Sinatras version - but now here's another strong contender! What a beautiful rendition. I'm always SO impressed with folk who can give such wonderful impromptu performances like this.

Not likely...I was simply the audience/camera man. The artists are friends from Scotland...I was visiting briefly from Canada.

A superb singer whom I have never seen before. Pity the acoustics werent a little better, maybe being a little closer with the mike might have helped.Never the less a great duo with a great song. Hope you`ll perform on more occasions for us.

A beautiful haunting song. I am sure the two ladies will be delighted that the composer approves of their rendition.
This was filmed June 22nd this year in Dalkeith Scotland. We were visiting from Canada, staying at my sister in law's and the ladies were guests for an evening of Pizza and song. It certainly was a highlight of our trip.
