Bigger the better for tires I like the new 18" fattys that get burnt off by the townies. they ride over bumps better and pull easier

You can put brakes on but it wont hold a team, send me you email and I'll send the plans

I have a big question: how many acres can you plow, harrow, and seed with 4 or 6 horse hitch. I need some link to check it out. of course it depends of soil. I have mostly heavy soils: glay-sand and sand-glay soils. I want to start using horses in agriculture and logging, so i need to make serious calculations, what is the optimal size of my farm, when i will use only horses.

@koitp2rn90 , hi , according to the horse and mule association, 4 horses can plow 4 acres a day, single disk 20 a day and harrow 40, I have found that they were not far off once your horses were in shape but it takes a week or two to toughen them up, if this fits the time frame u have to put ur crop in then good but i found that 6 0r 8 put the crop in so much faster not only cause

I wonder about if those horses went into a gallop..Hang on to that cart then
because you could be in for a hell of a ride.. That seed drill could plant some
oats into the poor bastard that fell off..

@weldermaniacbob you got to be kidding? why and hell would u gallop while your seeding? I guess it makes as much sense as driving a tractor flat out across a field then falling off and getting run over but i fail to see why
