  • @glacialgenesis I have to have them for three years maybe longer. I've had them for a year and one month now. I hate them. I'm also getting springs or rubberbands next month, has anyone else experienced springs?

  • @tartarsauce97 That's very true. There are Youtube videos by orthodinsts about that. But, I personally like these videos better, because they have had or still have braces, so they can relate to you, unlike half of orthos that have never had braces. But that's just my oppion. (:

  • do rubberbands hurt

  • why did you need braces

  • i have to wear elastics too.. its somewhat painfull

  • i wear my braces for 1 week now:D

  • That what mine said!!!! I have a 75% O.B.

  • i have a really bad overbite and my dentist said i need to get braces now because if i wait i will have serious jaw pain as an adult. so thats another reason =)

  • my orthadontist said your teeth have to be dry be4 u put wax on.

  • I have the heaviest archwire on bottom with the reverse curve, and the second heaviest archwire on top. Braces do hurt when they get tightened, generally. It's because the pressure of tightening teeth put on your gums traps the blood pressure, and somehow it causes pains. You can release the blood pressure if you close your teeth together with a bit of pressure and hold for 15 seconds. It slowly alleviates the pain. I've had 'em for 3 years. trust me. I hope nobody else has to have them thislong
