Please Check out the Full review at ShootingResources.com The TAC Drive itself is small an noninvasive. It is a roughly the size of a military dog tag. There is a hole in the top of the drive and it comes with two chains. This allows it to be worn on person (my preference) or attached to key rings or multiple other configurations. It also comes in a variety of colors and has custom logo or information that can be engraved on the blank side of the drive. For just text information there is no additional charge, however for a custom logo there is a setup charge of $25 but this is waved on orders of 20 or more of the product. Pretty standard stuff really but after this is where the TAC Drive gets interesting. The technical and application is where TAC Drive begins to set itself apart from the rest. The TAC Drive has a storage capacity of 1, 2, 4, 8, 16 GB. It uses a USB 2.0 high speed flash drive that has a data read of 15-33 MB/s and transfer of 4-11 MB/s. The drive uses the standard plug and play operation and is Mac OS x 10.4+ and Windows ready (this is Windows XP SP3, and Vista) ready. The TAC drive has a data retention of around ten years and information can be used an erased somewhere between 5,000-10,000 times.
Too bulky to wear.
