I don't know why but I find these videos fascinating. I love watching this stuff get done and explained to me. I wish I knew how to do this stuff - it seems like fun and you probably get to meet some cool people in the process.

if the block doesn't need to be re-bored will this process ruin the bore finish ?
can it be simply honed or will the bore finish be so rough that it need to be re-bored ?

@shodanxx - It's not a problem, we do this all the time, but I would recommend you have your block honed on a machine, and not by hand.
