  • On the Facebook Group : TREATING SCOLIOSIS WITH NON-SURGICAL METHODS

there are stories of what can happen years later after the op.

For non-op methods, by far and away the best is the Theraflex machine we have in the UK.

I got rid of my Scoliosis at 38 years old with a few sessions of this.

Get your doctor to give you a few sessions on Theraflex, if he won't - get a new doctor who will.

  • @DamienMearns01 that only works for patients with semi mild degrees. mine was 72, thats severe

  • I had my surgery 6 weeks ago now heh woot

  • eh omg i know i didnt get a full nights sleep the whole first months the pain was terrible!!!!! X(

  • haha ya ive only just started getting decent kip at night now lol, i dont think it was the pain that was stopping me but i just couldnt get into sleeping, i wouldnt get tired enough to want to sleep :(

Did my first pullup again today haha can finally do them, taken a long 6 weeks but ahwell i can do em now again lol feels good! i dont want to turn into a ball of flub so ima keep doing stuff like that hehe

  • @KatieBug32195 Mine was 35, There is a newspaper articel on my Facebook site about a woman withe 55 degree curve. You might be right but I can't see a fundemental reason why it might not work - it might even be easier as getting rid of curves less than 15 degrees the machine has very little twist to get hold of.

  • Hey. I had scoliosis surgery too in January this last year. I am so sorry you can't do gymnastics anymore but I hope you are able to see the good you are doing for yourself in the long term. How are you doing now? Keep it up and never give up! ~Katie :)

  • im really sorry but i used to do gymnastics and its been a year but if you have a rod in your back, theirs no more back bends , or back walk overs or front walk overs, not even a front hand spring. I remember 4 months post op i tried to do a back bend and i cried cus i fell after being in it for 2 seconds, it hurt and i couldn't do it. but at least in dancing theirs other tricks that dont involve the bride curve.

  • Helloo :) I was 65 degrees on top and bottom and i had my operation 2 weeks ago. I do dancing competitavly and just wondered if i would still be able to do my back walkovers and front ones in about 6 months? Can you do them now after your op? Louise :) Xxx
