I do like Gloria but this version is just ghastly compared to the honesty and purity of Helen Reddy's version. The dragon should have shot some flames at this tape. Elliot, where are you??

This fabulous performance was from the Academy Awards show. Gloria Loring did a fantastic job on these two songs. I was very excited when I saw this clip posted. I am surprised the Ms. Loring never recorded either or both of these as they really showcase her voice. Thank you so much for this as it brought back so many wonderful memories of that time.

What a great medley. Gloria Loring went on to become a one hit wonder when she had her only hit with "Friends and Lovers" with Carl Anderson back in 1986.
