As long as you ask for permission first, it is of course OK to kill innocent people--as we all know...

Well that depends on your definition of democracy. If you follow the procedural minimum defintion then most of the gov'ts we overthrow are not true democracies, only institutional democracies, which means nothing. Btw I'm not saying the CIA was right for trying to overthrow gov'ts, I'm just saying democracy is not a simple definition.

to let Baer know, there is really no one behind the IRGC and the only reason it still remains in one piece is bacause of the flow of cash comming from oil, drug & counterband smuggling & all the Iranian businesses they control, otherwise it'll break in half in a day
A former CIA he prefers to see mullhs in power and that's why he defands the IR regime
Also forget about Mousavi, what the Iranians are really demanding is regime change, they demand a secular democratic regime not IR

also to add, Mousavi didn't start the opposition movement, he actually is a conservative, he wants regime to be the Khomeini's way which people of Iran strongly oppose
Iranians are hiding behind Mousavi because otherwise they'll be considered the enemy of Islam according to IR laws and death sentnese is the result of attmpt to overthrow, just get a translation of their chant. they want a non-islamic regime
also Khamenei is a puppet of rafsanjani can't explain more

Good Grief; The CIA is unarguably the most venal, corrupt organized crime syndicate in the post-war world, aligned with numerous criminal gangs, cartels, tyranical regimes, warlords, thugs, murderers, traitors & scoundrels, subverting sovereignty, freedom, truth, legitimate governments, progressive social organizations, human rights & social justice movements. It has lost whatever privelege to secrecy claimed via law thru betraying core American ideals in service to corps & oligarchic elites.

What he is saying is so truth.Shia are disciplined believing people. If Israel or U.S attack Iran it will be a total slaughter. The 2006 war was a good example of what's awaiting anyone attacking Iran:total air superiority from the invader but a blood bath on ground.Hezbollah lost around 250 soldiers for 121 Israeli soldiers, if you keep in mind Israeli have the most advanced weaponry available today and they planed the operation for 1 year it was an humiliating defeat.

davidbroberts - It sounds like you are a real smart guy. You have me figured out by reading a couple posts. Yea that is real intelligence. I have read a few books and the ones I read say the U.S. stands for freedom, not that the government follows this line of thinking, I'm talking about the people. We don't need people telling anyone about past and present actions, but if you think we should tell our tactics it's probably because you are blind to the truth also.
