In the bustling city of Pasadena, Calif., lives a family of urban-farm pioneers. Jules Dervaes has spent more than 20 years cultivating his 8,700-square-foot urban farm with the help of his three adult children, Anaïs, Justin and Jordanne. The Dervaes family's example of sustainability stands out in their quiet suburban neighborhood.
Take a tour of the Dervaes family's urban homestead in Pasadena, Calif. with Jules Dervaes.
A good and positive transformation sir!! From being in spiritual seeding to growing food in our own backyards, you're an inspiration to me. I'm still with WCG but I follow your fruitful examples. Read also your Hidden Years, which GF 'stole' from you.

Feh, I don't care if he makes some money at this. It's small change compared to what real jerks like the Whole Foods bosses are making.

I love urban homesteading but Jules Dervaes is an asshole. He is trying to trademark the term urban homesteading and either force all urban homesteads to quit using the name or force them to pay him a fee. Disgusting and so harmful to the urban homesteading and urban organic movements. He talks about changing the world but it seems to me he's trying to change his the thickness of his wallet.
