EHR Success Stories: Dr. Cox

Burton D. Cox, Sr., DO, a Family Practice physician at the Kneibert Clinic in Poplar Bluff, MO, never "messes" with computers outside his practice. However, Cox says he would never go back to paper records and that his use of electronic health records over the past five years has made him a better physician.

The Missouri Health Information Technology (MO HIT) Assistance Center is an independent, non-profit organization, providing technical assistance, guidance, and information on best practices to support and accelerate providers' efforts to become meaningful users of certified EHR technology.
