Four quite simple and lovely pieces performed on my spinet. A tad rushed performances on each one, I guess. I blame my camera fever. Also very minuscule mistakes. See if you can spot them!

Thanks for my little brother for effects and the cool camera angle changes. :P

  • The second piece was not composed by J.S. Bach but by Christian Petzold.

  • @ilcineocchio This is under dispute as far as I've seen. I have seen either composer credited with the piece.

  • Isn't it fun to play Bach? I like playing it more than listening. Try out his 2 part inventions, they are so fun.

  • @mikeisapro I play quite a few of the inventions too, yes.

  • so sorry, youtube directed me to the wrong page to post my comment. anyways, shows how excited I was to post!! :)

  • this is extremely brilliant. you really capture the "god I hate you so much" essence of this song, like "god I can't express how much I hate you right now, it just won't let up". You really nailed it. I learned something new about tori's song from listening to your version. Thanks for posting. Do you have any others of hers that you do?

  • That first prelude sounds so much better on instruments of the clavichord and harpsichord family than on the modern piano or on the organ.

  • how nice ^^ this sounds so fresh <3 I love it!

  • ich muss zum Zahnarzt.... Scheiße

  • Very nice! I love Bach, not only for the "notes", obviously, but for the rhythms of his pieces as well. "Play" any one of these on a table top with your fingers drumming on wood (no music) and the mathematical precision that you hear is STILL enjoyable.

  • @Hyardacil Hi, this is from wiki: " The famous menuet, Minuet in G major, previously attributed to Johann Sebastian Bach, has been established in the 1970s as a piece by Petzold.[1][2][3] (References: Wolff, Christoph; Williams, Peter)". In the "Henle Verlag" edition of the Notenbuchlein you can find all the true composers (Petzold, Bohm, Couperin...) . However, the style of some pieces, like this menuet, in my opinion is far from the Bach style...
