@lordblazer I wish I took my telescope lol But I can't wait to go next year! I will take it for sure! I recommend searching online on your nearest dark locations! You will be impressed and Will feel very happy for viewing the night sky!

@lordblazer I was in space because the only thing I could see through the plane window was pure stars no lights on the ground! It was a most amazing thing! The people next to me were like WTF is this guy doing staring out the window lol But I enjoyed it! You should search some dark sky locatiion and travel there it is worth it I assure you! And when I landed there and went to visit some family I was In awe Because it was dark and full of stars! I had only taken my Binoculars

@lordblazer Me neither until I went to mexico! It was incredible! When I was on the plane I looked out after leaving Los Angeles California and Bleah It looked like a huge light bulb lighting up the sky. The light from the ground reached my eyes even From a high altitude!. And slowly after some hours I looked out the window and the light was slowly fading away! And From the plane I was impressed! I saw alot of stars through the plane window! It was so dark! I was happy :) I thought

I have't seen a sky full of stars since I was a kid,.

I agree 100 % wasted money. Street lights and porch lights ect ruin anyone from enjoying great views of the night sky. I live in a rural community and still have issues because of overly excessive lighting on neighbors properties.I have to leave home and travel to locate a dark sky location. It could be improved as mentioned and much appreciated in your video.

absolutely fantastic...
the difference between the new and old light were like night and day... no pun intended.
Great work, Starwalk! The astronomy 'outreach' is highly commendable and the practical, simple, cost-effective way to deal with light pollution is excellent. Maybe you might want to join the youtube astronomy group owned by BrunoTheQuestionable? It's a brilliant repository of a wide variety of astronomy videos. :)

Thanks for your praise! I will join Bruno's club.
We had an article in the Chicago Trib today--check it online.

Excellent article, you've been doing outreach for 10 years? That's serious dedication! I love that your dog's called Tycho Brahe, he hasn't got a golden nose has he? (I'll resist the 'how does he smell?' routine!) :)

No, Tycho has his own black nose. And yes, he smells very well but not very good!
