Halo 3: Build Up of New Custom Map in Forge

***READ DESCRIPTION***
This isn't a good video first off. I just made it to show a friend, but figured I'd leave it up so anyone could see it. I don't know how it got to be viewed so many more times than my actual montages but whatever.

So this is a new custom map made recently with Forge. Once I had completely finished the map, I then went through and deleted everything piece by piece. I used a capture card to record the saved film of this to my computer. Using a different program I REVERSED THE FOOTAGE so it looks like the map was being built up, instead of torn down.

This vid has nothing at all to do with spawn times or setting objects to not spawn at start only to spawn in later.

it's a common problem. for all forge's awesome features and the crazy things that can be made with it, it can be terribly cumbersome to use.

try this: position a box or double box about where you want your wall. then stand your wall next to the box and move it until it is flush with the side of the box and your wall will be about as straight up and down as you need it.

wait wtf how did u make it so the teleprters dont spawn there...usually when u prees x it says what channel to change

it's because this footage is the reverse of my saved film. the saved film you are watching had me deleting the entire map after it was finished. when the footage is reversed, what is really a teleporter being deleted, looks like it's spawning into place, which you can't do in forge. the teleporter is there and always will be once you place it somewhere. again, the footage is in reverse.

but every thing he bought he put spawn at start?-no and he put a time when he wants it to then he started a new round and recorded and watched it all slowly come back

no that's not right.

this video doesn't show the map being spawned into existence using the spawn at start? -no option, and then setting everything to a specific time. the video is a recording of a saved film made while I was in forge. I just thought of a new Little Big Planet idea... KILL YOUR BUDDY HALO EDITION! okay, so the top track has a button that you step on. The bottom track has 7 rings, representing the HALO array. when the guy on botttom gets trapped in there, the guy on top triggers contact bombs that fall from the ceiling, representing the triggering of the HALO array. The guy on bottom dies.
