Celtistan - that mythical place somewhere between Ireland and India where wonderful World-Fusion music takes place! Members of the group are: Benjy Wertheimer, an extraordinary tabla, djembe and esraj player; Michael Mandrell, a phenomenal guitarist; David Trasoff, a great sarode player and former prize student of the late Ali Akbar Khan, Dari on hammered dulcimer & bowed psaltery, and David Michael on Celtic harp. Procession of the Stars composed by David Michael, available on CD Courtship of the Moon. www.davidmichaelharp.com

  • the best part is the small audience.. very few will know good stuff.

  • There was a television programme broadcast in Scotland once, noting the similarities between Scottish music and Indian music. I found it very interesting at the time. Great video :-)

  • Thanks!
