This is a slideshow made in tribute to Hurricane Katrina victims. I evacuated before the storm hit, but I lost everything. Some of the pictures are from my home and town. Some pictures are not suitable for everyone. The song is Cry Out to Jesus by Third Day. Please comment and rate.

I made this video on July 4, 2006.

  • Good job, always nice to see videos to this song. Very true song, I remember when Katrina hit.... Remember all those comercials on Disney, nick even comedy central, everyone wanted to help. I think that made our nation stronger.

  • Yea, I even remember Disney made a That's So Raven episode for emergencies and disasters like earthquakes and such to get people feeling better. Everyone was afraid the world was going to end. In truth though, it sure did feel like the world was going to end at that time. But things are getting better now, and I'm just glad that we all have our family still.

  • Wow....I can't stop crying...I am so sorry for your loss....the pictures are so unbelievable...thanks for putting this video together...we haven't forgotten you down there....love, Canada

  • Thanks for your concern. I'm glad you haven't forgotten, but we all do need to move on and just be grateful for what we have.

  • Demmocrap Governor and Demmocrap Lt. Governor and Demmocrap Sentor Mary and the Demmocrap Mayor of louisiana have only spent thousands of the Billions that were sent to help the poor.Wake-up and demand the demms who are in power to help the poor of new orleans. Now that the demmocraps are in power over the country why the hell are they not making these people spend the money they have had for over a year and a half?

  • Heh, I've been wondering the saaaaaaaame thing.... Where's all this money we supposedly got? I understand it takes a lot of money to repair and clean-up, but you know what? It still looks like the day after Katrina hit in Chalmette. The LEAST the could do is clean up.

  • "sigh", cry out to jesus?... Instead of hoping for god and jesus to fix everything, think about how to prevent this from happening! All the gases and the enviroment spillages are destroying the country... Ah forget that, jesus is gonna help us anyways!...

  • I'm now 21 years old and I grew up in the 9th ward from the day I was born til I was 13 years old. It is horrible to see what my home has now become. I have nothing left of my childhood. I want to thank you so much for posting this. So many people comment on how the people of the 9th ward were nothing but crackheads but there were people who tried everyday. I thank god everyday for my life. I didn't evacuate because we had no way to get there now I have 3 kids and still god is with me. Keep pray

  • BRINGS TEARS TO MY EYES....

  • New Orleans my love goes out to you all- it's sad b/c innocent people suffered and died here- Then it's a wonder about New Orlean's and the way the state lived as a people. Of course people were good there but the partying, the drugs, the lust, greed and gluttony abound.. well that was always a direct hit to God! God Bless and Godspeed to a new and different New Orlean's to come.
