mic is crap, only wind noise. you can't hear the engine sound...

Really? would you recommend this camera then? Have you tried covering the mic up slightly .... muffle it ?

check out my newest vid: "gurnigel short compilation april" there I ducttaped the mic slightly. I'd although recommend the cam, cause you don't have to carry other stuff with you when ur filming (camcorder, battery pack... video qual. is quite good in raw format.
