66 Promises - PJ Harvey - Philadelphia 12.7.00

Ok, this starts out like, "what the bloody hell?!.. I can't see!.. idiot camera person!" etc. But be patient. This was the opening song of the night and the filmer was still scrambling to get his camera act together. About a minute in, you'll get a more consistent image and some close ups of PJ.

Had I been more imaginative, I might have waited to make this song my 66th video upload. But I don't have the patience for that sort of indulgence.. and I suspect, neither do you! ;)

So here it is, '66 Promises'.. a b-side from the Stories from the City/Sea album. Some argue that her b-sides from this period were as good and sometimes better than some of the album cuts. I tend to agree.

There were one or more "singles" released for the song 'Good Fortune' and each one of those had two or three b-sides included with the title song (Good Fortune).There was also a 'A Place Called Home' single with a couple/few more b-sides included on that one.

One of the (Good Fortune) singles features this one, 66 Promises, as well as the songs Memphis & 30. You should be able to buy them new or used somewhere online, at least. Plus, there are those "other" methods.
