actually....the dynamics of taller people squating makes it more difficult.....
so comparing weights of someone who is shorter to someone who is taller shouldn't be done.
most people who squat over 1,000lbs are not 6'6"+ I am willing to bet no one is over 6'3"

im 15 , 6 ft and the most ive squated so far is 255 lb's

Squats really are a lot harder for tall guys. Today I talked with an olympic lifter at the gym. He said he has never seen such tall guy squat so deep. (194cm) I try to go ATG but apparently the reason the reason tall people don't go ass to grass is because they get the ass wink at the bottom which kills lumbar spine sooner or later. I have this problem too.
I've got some serious hamstring stretching to do...

WORD. I'm 6'5 and I ABSOLUTELY DREAD doing squats at football practice. But, they do help so I live with them.

It does require more muscular strength for a taller person to move the same weight. The leverage is not as great due to the femur being longer, and the weight must also be moved a greater distance. That being said, tall people, with enough work, can squat great weights.
