From HCH's 2007 production of "Guys and Dolls" - the scene and song of "I'll Know (When My Love Comes Along)."

On a technical note, I'd like to point out that for one of the performances Sky's microphone had *completely* cut out. Ah, the joys of tech!

  • what about the kiss and the slap? thats the best part.

  • Oh, I agree. Bu there were actor issues re: kissing. This was the compromise.

  • she sounds like a boiling tea kettle hitting those high notes

  • In theatre, when you are asked to kiss..you kiss. The kiss in this scene really pushes the romance with Sky and Sarah, changes the story up.

  • He is talking way too fast!

  • haha "why would you want to have dinner with me?.. i'm hungry "

  • Sky is speaking way too quickly.

  • i think that you guys should kiss. who cares if you dont get along its called acting for a reason. harden up, it means nothing of stage. this is ridiculous. it would have been amazing if you had the kiss and slap.

  • this guy doesnt really give sky masterson justice.

  • Thank God for artistic evolution. Keep working, guys and dolls!

  • @Dukenstein123 Absolutely. There should be little to no compromises in a play where these details are concerned, especially from such young, relatively inexperienced people.

  • i dont think the girl is that good no offense
