  • Spen, how long have you been playing tennis for? if its a year or more you need to up a gear and have more drive, your not concentrated on your volleys which should be EASILY finished.

  • @TennisBoiiRogFed

I agree, 100%. It's something I've been working to improve on. At the time of this video segment, clearly I'm not as comfortable at net as I would have liked to have been. It's been a slow process, but there is some improvement. Thanks for the feedback!

    Spencer, TW.

  • how come spence is playing with different rackets in most videos. he has played with atleast 4 different sticks in the past. what gives?

  • @jeewalk

As a playtester as well as writing product descriptions, I am required to hit with several racquets as well as many other products (such as shoes and string). Throughout some of these episodes I have brought out some of the newer offerings to get a feel for, and as you have seen, I have used in some of the drills. I haven't strayed too far from my Pure Storm Ltd though. I keep it with me, and use it most of the time, and definitely when playing sets.

  • Chris, how's the low-tension experiment working out for you?? Are you going to stick with it? I've wanted to try it out ever since I learned that some pros string their racquets in the 40's, which seems ridiculous to me. Everyone I know stings their racquet high 50's low 60's.

  • @kbkrisp

I'm really enjoying the low tensions and I'm going to stick with it. My favorite tension with a poly right now is 30lbs, with the hybrid I've gone up to 40lbs. All poly seems to be the way to go so far.

  • Spen, so sorry for the harsh criticism, its just you have so much potential, and i hate seeing talent going to waste, but looking at your racket reviews you`ve improved so much, Great Job Spen!

  • dang i have a lot of respect for u guys u have improved so much

  • 2:30- i like that drill......my highschool tennis coach has us do that drill ever once and a while.....it helps alot.......you really have to focus on this drill...........i wonder where he got it from.

  • lol the intro music is so intense. Loving it!

  • spency your footwork is lazzy.... you need move more with little adjusment steps

  • @kbkrisp

I noticed that I love the high tension feel when hitting the ball, but the balls seems to come better off the string when the tension is lower. My friend had the same opinion. He said "he likes the feel of high tension, but the ball just seems to come off slower than how good its feels" Hope I was able to help.

  • Hi fellas - don't you think as well as working on shortening your racket work on the volleys, which by the way have improved lots, but also work on a more compact backswing on the drives when under pressure from the net player - Spencer's forehand backswing for me is too big at times when Spencer is volleying deep to him

  • also i think moving with your partner is a good idea. depending on where the one streched out hits it. if you partner hits it crosscourt and you shift to the right (thats where you partner is ) the down the line shot is wide open. if your partner hit a ball down the line then covering the middle is good idea and vis versa

remeber this is all opinion so please don't bash

good luck and keep it up
