I think the whole point of this cream is not to make one fairer, but to get back ones natural color and glow and clarity which has been lost due to malnutrition tanning and unnecessary chemical treatments like bleaching..I have seen so many dusky woman with beautiful skin who are more gorgeous. This cream has been inappropriately named. What makes it even worse is the company capitalizing on the insecurities of Indian People by saying that they wont get a man/job unless they are fair.

I mean my god ppl get boob jobs, tan, hell even get their nails done to make them longer...there is always somethign about a person they would love to change...acne, scars, unibrows...hair on your legs arms...ect. and we crave to be as beautiful as we can be. there is nothing wrong with feeling good about yourself and if you have a problem with it then dont wear makeup,cut your hair,tan, or such things. nor be with anyone that does.

Ok retarded ppl out there first of all fair and lovely yes lightens your skin but the main goal is to reverse damage and black marks. also for all those that tan out there shut the hell up you are not happy with how pale your skin is and we are not happy with the fact that our skin is uneven or dark. this is mostly for those that have dark acne scars and unevenness because of the sun. If you know anything about Indian skin this is a huge probelm and putting on make up in that weather is crazy!
