  • Shawn Johnson is already back in the gym, she said via Twitter, that she's trying to get back in shape, because if she ever decide to return, she'll not go back and do a mediocre job. I think Shawn can be very helpful for the 2012 Olympics, do not forget that Shawn was the only American girl who participated in the four events, and if not for Shawn, USA may not have obtained the silver medal in the teams final!

  • i love how shes a worldclass athlete and still kept her grades up during highschool to get into BROWN!

  • As stated in the video, she did retire. However, just recently, she made a decision to make a comeback to gymnastics. Alicia plans to compete at the VISA National Championships next summer in August on 2 events, Beam and Vault.

  • she retired?

  • I can verify that as well. Alicia was doing some in house commentary on the 2009 Visa Championships and announced that she will be making her return. Marta Karolyi asked her if she would come back and Alicia did some thinking and decided she still has some fight in her. I was so happy when she announced this. So far 4 of the 6 girls from the olympic team have come back, Alicia will make 5 and now all we have to wait on is Shawn Johnson to make a final decision.

  • where did you hear that?

  • I wish she wouldn't retire. I wish she knew just how much she still had to offer the sport.

  • i really miss herrrrrr!!!!!!! :(

  • PUCK ME
