Wine and gastronomy

All year long, traditional Alsatian festivals and events represent opportunities to get together and enjoy culinary specialities and customs. Indeed, Christmas in Alsace would simply not be the same without the famous bredele, the Christmas cakes with countless shapes and flavours.

  • Alsace was a fantastic surprise! Very pretty, easy to drive around, lots of great wine, and many towns straight out of a fairy tale! This ad seems to show a lot of upper-class restaurants; we didn't eat at those. The food that we found in Alsace was a bit limited, although tasty. Choucroute, tarte flambee, food heavy on vinegar. It's such a wonderful place to visit, we will definitely go back; next time, maybe we'll try these more expensive restaurants for variety.

  • tres tres bien
