Super Mario 3D Land S8-Crown Speed Run (200 secs)

A speed run of Super Mario 3D Land's true final level (200 secs). I improved my previous run (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I4YzCItL2cU) by taking two more short cuts and carefully timing my attacks with Boom Boom and Pom Pom.

This video is unfortunately shakier than the last one because I forgot to support my 3ds at the back side. :) Apologies for the quality. Again, I'd like to hear suggestions as well as attempts from other people to beat this score. :)

@Rentaline99 Nice! :D Any new tricks you discovered? The current idea I have is to switch back to Mario to see if I can get around Luigi's subtle handling issues, but dunno if I can pull off one of high jumps.

Yeah! I suggest you use the stone tanooki suit and luigi.

-Use the tanooki suit to sweep the bosses with your tail. It's easier than jumping on them.

-Use the stone mode on the "black blobs" part to keep from jumping.

-At the "Thank you" jump off the moving platform and long jump. the green platforms will appear as you get near. Cheers! :D

@Rentaline99 Wow! Never knew you can sweep the bosses! I just got 197 on a trial run using your method (still fumbling on the bosses and the Thank You bit) but I can definitely see how to shave more time. Thanks a lot!
