This had to be 1985...I shot this in Park Ridge.

There should be a computer program or something to help restore the color so it's not green. That would help with identification.

vintage?

@kmillard The parking garage in the back ground was not there in 1971. It was built some where around 1979. I mis those days of f units and bud cars!! Reminds me of going out to grandmas house in cary from that very station!!

@kmillard Nope, CNW operated F-units on their business trains into the 1980s.

@xxmoviemakerxxx Chicago and North Western Railroad.

This looks like the CNW business trains that ran in the 80's. Pretty cool to see a video of these units in action. Unfortunately now theyre all out of service. I know some of these units were in the Cheyenne WY. yard for sale and another is in WI for sale but is totally destroyed. What a shame.

Can't be. Gotta be before May 1 of 1971.

I prefer a multi-note horn on trains but I have to admit that the Leslie sound is quite distinctive and grows on you after a bit.

Don't they use these on boats as well? They sound like 'em.
Damn, what train was this?
