@n0y0x Everyone should. My Thinkpad T400 is terrible. My graphics card is the number one hinder there is. In fact, with only a 160 Gb hard drive, 2Gb of RAM, and such a low level graphics card, it is meant for hardly any gaming. The only reason that his laptop can run Crysis is because he opened it up and upgraded the parts.

Hard drive doesn't slow your games down, it's your graphic card.

and of course it runs fine graphics wise its an 11 inch monitor at 900x600 resolution ahah.. plug into hd monitor and run at 1080p and see how it runs then... i think thinkpads are overpriced... if you wanted to play crysis you could have gotten a asus g62, the greenish one, for like 600 bucks used

get to assault,
by the end of that level you'l realize that dual-cores arent for gaming

@elchicoboy - Lenovo has a website, dude. They even let you do this thing where they have you select what country you're located in. It's pretty badass.

hey man can you give me specs? how much does this laptops costs?
-
@KM1509 ok thanks for info, i checked mine and it's version is 2767, so is there anyway i can install ati catalyst or switchable graphics thing ?
-
Hey RedlineR24, the reason why your screen goes black is probably because of the model type of your T400, you can read my comment on kkkkkkkkk92 for more information.

Hey kkkkkkkkk92 and RedlineR24, I might have the answer to your problem and bad news. Well, the reason why wd853 can play those games and you can't is because not all Lenovo's T400 got the switchable graphics ATI card, only some types of Lenovo's T400 got it, these are the model types: 2764, 2765, 2766, 2767, 2768, 2769, 2773.
You probably have other model type, you can check your model type in the bottom of your laptop or in the box it came.

"1) The T400 isn't offered with the Radeon 3650. It uses the Radeon 3470 for discreet graphics. 2) The stuttering shouldn't be caused by the hard drive, as the graphics are not swapped to and from the hard drive that much. I think Crysis is just a bit much for the T400 it all, and that's nothing to be ashamed of. Few notebooks will run that particular game really well. Great video though. The high quality is appreciated."

sorry, I hit the remove by accident. Anyways, how do you explain the lack of stuttering once the hard drive is replace by another? and I don't think graphic cards lag that way.
