Speech controlled Parallax B.O.E.-Bot. Uses the java based Sphinx4 speech recognition engine which communicates via a Bluetooth Class2 RFCOMM port with the Robot. The Robot contains a Stamp2 microcontroller coded in PBasic. The robot also contains a set of IR emitters and detectors, as well as a piezospeaker.

Commands include:
-Move forward X feet
-Move backwards X feet
-Move left X feet
-Move right X feet
-Turn left X degrees
-Turn right X degrees
-Play a song
-Activate follow mode

  • Nice project. Is this system speaker independent? or must the commands be prerecorded from a specific user?
