This video demonstrates some of the features and effects in Avid Media Composer, the non-linear editor used to edit the vast majority of Hollywood movies, and Avid 3D, the 3D graphics and animation program in Avid's Studio Toolkit.

One of the great benefits of Avid 3D is that it enables you to create stunning 3D graphics for your video projects, without the steep and time-consuming learning curve that most 3D applications require.

Produced, Directed, Edited, Cinematography, 3D graphics, and encoded for the web by Michael Berman.

  • is this what most professional people use? like movies, music videos and all that?

  • Yes.

  • good video whats the song used in 2:00

  • "Clips" - We did a cover of the ZZ Top song "Legs", but changed the lyrics to a story about a talented lady with a popular channel on YouTube. The song is a tribute to HappySlip.

  • Great video, already had Liquid with HFX but recently got Avid 3D and its fantastic absolutly outstanding , before i used LightWave 3D but incredibly time consuming

I do not use composer however but Liquid 7, my question is FluidMorph a AVX plugin?

    or thirdparty, thanks

  • I believe FluidMorph is an AVX plug-in. It comes with the standard version of Media Composer.

  • No, thats wrong. Avid is used for 85% of all Hollywood Films.

In fact, all five Best Picture nominee's for the Academy Awards were edited on Avid

  • im soo gonna get this program and stay until 6 in the morning playing and learning how to use it

  • all the users who say final cut and other crap are better does not know how avid works. I have avid lessons on school and it's extremely difficult to learn compared to other crap programs.
