she started amazingly well, but her progress seems normal, giving that she paints all the time, i started drawing at age 15 and im at the same level as her and im 20

Akiane Kramarik is a child prodigy to painting in the same way that Christopher Paolini is a child prodigy to writing: she can do it, but not very well.

@BOBBYJ420 You should become more informed about a subject before you offer a critique. He mother was an atheist prior to her remarkable display of artistic prowess, which Akiane attributes to her faith, and as a result of that, her mother now believes in God. Thus, there was no brainwashing...you stupid bitch (had to throw that in for emphasis)
