More slavery in our monetary structure, not that we aren't slaves already.
If people want to save the planet,
Get rid of all currency and money!
making people pay more taxes will just make things worse.
Redesign the entire system and eliminate money, therefore no war, no profit structure, no corruption, no crime, no classes, and no elitism.
Work on a world without money that should be our goal

@LeafyLarry: Come on, everyone knows that taxing the common folk for uh... no logical reason at all... will inevitably SAVE THE PLANET!
Recent news headline on Info wars dot c o m (article on dailymail co uk ) :
"How 16 ships create as much pollution as all the cars in the world" - lol. Nuff said?
Also, 'global' warming is something happening to every planet in our solar system, at the moment. Its actually caused by the sun. (It's NASA's "hottest" secret, hehe).
So much for 'man' made...

@arabidopsissb: Let's hope they don't :(
There's a slogan in Germany... you see it as graffiti or stickers on lamp posts... "Imagine there's a war, but noone goes [to participate]" ;)
Know what I mean? I hope the era of senseless wars is over... nobody really wants war anymore, only big shadowy corporations and the likes, who have an interest in making $ from economic slavery (the petro-pharma "cartel") and war itself (the arms industry). Not everyone owns an oil field. (PS: Such losers! ;-P)

Thanks for your opinion, now step off.
Dear TEDtalksDirector.....!!! I am seeing this TRAFFIC EPIDEMIC ad since ages now. How many times do you have to repeat this ad? By now the girls in the ad (3:15) must have grown old enough to vote !!

Capitalisation of land? Pretty euphamism for stealing land from substistance farmers and centralising the economy. Where has this led to improvement of lives and expansion of human rights in developing countries? It simply means that people, already poor, can no longer afford to eat, and that arable land is no longer used to feed people in preference for cash-crops.
