Absolutely gorgeous. If this isn't sung bh Herdman, Hills & Mangsen it sure sounds like them (as their group name, Voices of Winter) . Anyway, I've sung it before to music students at a multifaith preschool, and everyone was enchanted. It's one of the prettiest things I've ever heard.

Anyone looking for a drop-dead gorgeous recording, look for the folk trio "Voices of Winter."

Wow this is our chorus song for school but way different! Ours is a little better though.
-
Is this the only tune on Youtube? The one I know is much happier, not this choir stuff. Honestly I can't stand it.

(2nd part)
calls ye faithful come along with me!
(repeat but then "calls ye faithfull come with me!")
as each night we add one light we
add a prayer that freedom is for all
for you know we keep them holy
till the eight are trilling great and small
then "ya bab bim bom bim bom, etc." to end it.

Oh hey yea, I know the ya bab bim bom version... that one's fun. If I recall correctly. Thanks for the translation.
