Absolutely marvelous program. Just love it. What a competitor! You can tell by her breakdown afterwards what it cost her to skate like that and yet when she was on the ice she sold every beat, every moment, with a lightness, a grace and a smile that Kerrigan just could not top. And I LOVE that she threw in that triple at the end--she was NOT letting that victory slip away! She deserved the gold, 100%. I just love watching this LP. God bless you, Oksana.

I always wish the announcers would STFU!!!!

@misschungo: To see the three of them together in the audience cheering her on—how wonderful.

hahaha! i was laughing when she threw out that small toy in her hand when she saw her score. Very funny.

she came to my home state back then

Oh, just to see Sergei Grinkov again in the audience.

I remember watching this when i was 13. I thought Oksana was so beautiful and talented. So, when I got a new baby kitty cat I named her Oksana. That was about 18 years ago, and she is still with me till this day.

And if you compare Oksana to Michelle kwan who was only 1 year older than Oksana when she skated at the Olympics. Michelle's artistry blows Oksana away.

I think everyone needs to watch her 93 skate america performance. I know alot of people Hate Dick Button, but I agree with his assesment. It wasn't her best performance. I personally find it juvinile in a sense. No matter how much you connect with an audience. Someone said Nancy's choice of music was horrid, and you don't think a "medoly of show tunes" is tacky as well? haha I don't get it.

Красиві катання! Перехід Україні!
After watching all of Nancy's and Oksana's1994 Olympic performances on YouTube, I think Oksana made more of a connection with the audience than Nancy. Even though Nancy skated better technically, there was a lightness & grace in Oksana's performances that was absent in Nancy's, which was outstanding considering she was injured the day before. Both had to overcome horrible circumstances to make it to the Olympics & both skated beautifully -- but the judges were right in giving the gold to Oksana.

I remember watching this with my mom when I was 16. When Oksana broke down crying we did too, what a doll she was!
