  • This is great, for someone like me just starting out, advising even how to hold the pencil is valuable and to shade in a circular fashion for better results...these little things make all the difference.

  • Good technique and everything, but I would recommend something other than a kleenex tissue to rest your hand on. It's a very soft paper that will smudge softer pencils (6B and onwards). Using a normal piece of lined paper works better as it's got a smoother finish and it's a heavier paper and won't smudge your work anywhere near as much.
