love it.
Just what I was looking for. Thank you park zone.
I'm an intermediate/beginner just getting back into flying again.
This is my second plane.
My first is a wingo from 8 years ago (Still flys)
About a month ago my friend bought a super cub and I wanted to get a new plane.
I wanted something that i could fly in my back yard on calm days so I wouldn't have to venture to the park. I have 2 little kids and it's hard to find time to fit in dedicated hours at the park. I always dreamed of a plane i could fly in my living room.
I picked it up instore at HobbytownUSA.
The first flight was last night in my inlaws large basement. Nice table take off. Lots of bouncing off of things. I do not reccommend an indoor flight for your first flight. Then last night after the kids went to sleep I was able to fly it in the street under the street lamp. Awesome. A 30x50' area was perfect for flying. After a while I was flying circles around myself at arms length.
Note that it has a red light that helps you keep track of it in the dark. I did lose sight of it in the dark and ended up with a 10' nose dive into the pavement. Not a scratch. I've crashed this thing about 30 times so far and it still is in new shape. I need to take it easy before it breaks.
So this morning it was too windy to fly, so i decided to try and fly it in the living room while the family was sleeping. Here's a video. Note that I am a beginner/intermediate and I've never hovered a plane before. This thing has some good power to recover from stalls. I can't believe I snuck in a flight without waking the babies. This thing is pretty quiet. While I can technically fly this in my 15x20 living room I think that it's better suited to a larger area.
Other impressions. I feel like I am going to break the thing everytime I pick it up. I may put a handle on it. I never know where to pick it up and I keep grabbing the servos.
The battery bay velcro came off before I flew. I use a piece of scotch tape to hold the battery in every time i fly. I wish there was a rigid battery mount that was easier to use.
Overall I think it's going to be great to fly in my yard.
Would you recomend it to an experienced pilot?

@matrobsti
I would recommend for the experienced pilot who wants to have fun in the back yard or inside. Definitely hobby grade stuff vs the cheap toy planes. You could also look at the other Parkzone Ultra Micros or the e-flite UMX for a fully acrobatic plane for the very experienced pilot. I haven't tried those yet.

@flyapenguin thanks, but the thing is that the umx is 160D and now the vpor is on sale in my country, it cost about 60D. I will shurely buy one of the UMX, but they have not come out, so I want a plane now in the winter season, do you think it still could be a little fun for me to fly it?

@matrobsti It's lots of fun. I would fly in the street at night. You can do touch and goes and hover and take it up 1 couple hundred feet to chase birds. I added a paper fuselage with pictures of my kids. You could also consider one of the msr helicopters too. But I like planes better. There is a new vapor that has night lights on it. check out rcgroups.com for more discussion on all the planes.
