@emancipatedtalent He actually did turn things around quite nicely emanc. For the past 24 months the US has been adding jobs,2.5 mil new jobs. Sure, not enough, but we were losing 750K jobs a month when he was sworn in. He led us out of 1 of Bush's phoney wars while getting Bin Laden & the other killer of Americans Ghadaffi. Under him, more people will have have care. I'd hoped for more BUT, as you correctly point out, the previous Pres.wrecked this country therefore BO is doing miracles.

The Americans believe the US is 10x better than the next best country (which I guess according to the conservatives is Israel)... when ironically, its those countries with universal health care and socialist governments that have the highest quality of life scores. Especially when it comes to education, health and happiness, the US is just plain mediocre. And there is no solution once a society becomes decadent and lazy.
