I always thought it was the "Feuerwerksmusik". Heureka, now I found the real Song. Thanks to Saturn. ;)

Napoleons own words - "Of the fifty battles I have fought, the most terrible was that before Moscow. The French showed themselves to be worthy victors, and the Russians can rightly call themselves invincible."
-
@Rachegotter Moscow was left in ruins by the Russians themselfs. Le Grande Armée suffered 65% of its casualties by the time of the Moscow retreat with the biggest loses during battle of Borodino. Napoleon could not complete the destruction of the Russian forces his Grande Armée pretty much was decimated at that point nor could it be resupplied ..the Russians made sure of that..

I could never convince my band teacher to let us play this for our concert I don't know why.Even though this is one of the best pieces ever written

@injunboy5150 Uhhh... the French WON the battle of Borodino. However, Pyhrric victory, as they thought they were strong enough to weather the Russian dreadful winter. Eventually, they had to go back home. But they raped Russia like it never was before. Moscow was basically in ruins.

howd they load so many shots into one cannon o.o
Uh...It has the French National anthem in it. It's based on the war of 1812 with France and Russia. Napoleon was defeated. That's why there's cannon and the Russian National Anthem at the end.
