After reading these comments, I almost feel guilty. Norman is from my town and lives about 30 minutes from me. He wouldn't know me from Adam but I've seen him play a number of times as he plays local venues fairly regularly. Norman is one of my favorite pickers. I just love how clean his picking is and how he varies it with straight picking, cross-picking, bass runs, and rhythm.

I remember my old guitar teacher was obsessed w/ this guy. I couldn't remember his name at first, so I searched "whiskey before breakfast." That was the name of one of his albums, I believe. Anyway, it's really cool hearing him again; this guy's great.

@jocwalk Norman is the very best there is on a flat top guitar, I've heard people say Tony Rice or Doc Watson but this guy is very smooth and deserves #1

my Dad meet Norman Blake and acted like a star struck, so funny to see my down to earth Dad so giddy. Been listening to him with my Dad since I was a kid, and he listened with his Dad.



I wish you would spell "street" as it is spelled on the case....
