@TheFXGuy I have a Quad Core i7 as well @ 2.8 Ghz. I always use multiprocessing though, it makes life in After Effects so much nicer.. and quicker ;)

@SpecialFxKid Don't know if that'll actually happen. The reason I was going to do that in the first place was to avoid having to learn how to animate in Blender. I've since learned how to animate fairly well (compared to a lot of vids). May still do it, but I probably won't.
I might actually do a facial motion capture rig. Since I learned more about Blender, I had an idea of how to do it fairly easy. Might put up a vid talking about the idea.

I now got the CS5 collection too, it's the production collection though. I don't really need the extra stuff but just what you need for film making. I agree though, it is sooo much faster and more comfortable to use. With my new PC which has a splitted Quad-Core and 8GBs of RAM, it basically renders on 8 cores at a time which is way faster than what I experienced before especially with 64-bit native support now.

@ExplosiveFilms2007 I've got a quad core i7 920 @ 2 ghz w/ 8 gigs of ram. CS5 was running 20x faster than CS4 with multiprocessing off, even though I ran CS4 with it on.
What kind of processor does your new computer have?
