@FSFilmkritiken Natural Selection at work, I guess, lol.

If it has been done by the MST3K team then I reckon they had a field day with it! ^_^

@japcloud True enough. It was even godo enough to win a Saturn Award for "Best Effects under a Budget of 1.000.000", that is at least something. Most of the Budget went for the Effects anyway, so.... hey, it really looks good!

@SamusDrake DEFINETELY! I tried watching it in English for the first time and couldn't watch through. - I don't now, wasn't it reviewd by MST already... I mean, it is in a Midnight Movies Collection and I think they are somehow connected, but maybe I'm just thinking wrong... hmn....Maybe someone knows more???

@bigvirgotube No, it was a completely different movie, but this scene sure reminds of the fight betweeen Gwangi the Allosaur and the Styracosaur from "Valley of Gwangi". Funny, because in both movies Dinos are fighting, that never would have actually met... Well, at least Planet of Dinosaurs gives us an excuse with "Alien Dinosaurs", so, ahhh, what the heck?! ;)

@MrHudDakNic12271990 Well, don't worry, he dies later in the movie for RUNNING IN AGAIN!
-
@ben31584 WAY better, that's for sure! When I checked the Golden Raspberry Awards this year I was so overjoyed to read Twilight Breaking Dawn Part 1 in there for several times. It's a blessing that at least one award out there finally hit the right target, he, he, he, he....

@JKXOMGWTFBBQ Yeah well, the Effects however fulfill me more with the joy of filmmaking than with fun. I think that the old Stop-Motion-Effects are quite beautiful to behold (most of the time), the "actors" however definetely are for laughs, even I might be a better actor and that is saying something, he, he... What I give this movie credit for however is, that the T-Rex looks BADASS and is the main reason I love this movie so much!

is this a valley of gwangi rip off?
Sooooo how again are the odds of alien creatures evolving into forms EXACTLY like the dinosaurs?
