I hate to say it cause it feels like I'm bandwagoning when I do, but Rin's path is probably the best. If not then it's at least my favorite of the 5. I loved all the paths, including Shizune's, but Rin's just felt deeper than the other, even though they were all pretty deep. Something about Rin's struggle really hit home with me.

@Quietpower99 I have played through Rins path just now, and it most definetly IS the best. A story about art, freedom, change, and the fact, that words are just a human construct, and there are way more things in our world, where words are no help at all, even though we are surrounded by them.

@ThePuppetplayer Like spoken out of my own mouth mate. The more you play those kinds of games, the more the story matters to you and its character, art/music quality is less important (though still important as they effect your feel for the game). Sexual content should really just be in if it has some effect/punch on the storyline, randomly placed sex moments that have little or no effect on the story at all are usually just waste of time.

Buuut that's just my opinion. :P

@GoWeegee Those feels, man. Those feels. Besides, it's a different kind of visual novel than a lot of them. I'm not professing to be an expert on the topic, but it seems to me like many are just about the sex. Not all, but quite a few. For KS it's a lot more about the story. You identify with the characters, and if you don't you can understand them.

Rin route is patrician-tier, existential conflicts in the form of self-identity and projecting yourself towards others + the idea that language forms a barrier rather than bridges the gap as it normally would, the route for any gentleman. You've done well, Puppetplayer.

@ThomasMoar Rin was in so many ways unattractive to me. kind of seemed like a dope with no sense of decency. I would have naturally fallen into Emi's rout if my friend didn't threaten death upon me if I took it, the natural one for me to follow after that was Hanako. And in all honesty, come one, that shot with her standing over the pool table, sexy as hell.
