PSP LED Mod with Tilt switch

I modded my PSP with a clear case, 6 Surface mount LEDs and a Tilt switch. The Tilt switch was used to activate the blue LEDs because they needed a higher voltage to emit light than could be provided at the ON switch. The 2 orange and 2 red LEDs had no problem with the lower voltage, i wired them in parallel with a 20 Ohm resistor. what does the tilt switch do?

@TwizTransformerz The tilt switch turns off the front Blue LEDs when the PSP is at what I call "the angle of play" so when I'm playing a game I don't have the blue LED's shining in my eyes as they are pretty bright.

@comandantewater...Well I ended up soldering four LEDs in series with wire wrap wire from the power LED position to the four corners of the PSP (orange and red LEDs). The LEDs are held in place with Hot glue. For the blue LEDs I wired them direct to battery power with a tilt switch to disconnect the power whenever the PSP was placed down. That's the secret :).

you have one of these "chinese" akku/baterie thinks. Hold it longer than the normal sony battery? And work it good since a few years later?

@sk8rj10 I haven't got one, but it's okay, if i play nights, theres much light if the LEDs are on, the red LEDS, but nice idea :D
