This is the build process of the Aoshima 1/24 scale Nissan Skyline HCR32 GTS-T 4-door (2 litre straight-6/RWD/Turbo) - done up as a tutorial on how to build a scale model from bare plastic bits into a fully detailed static display item - what prompted this is that I get a lot of questions from people on how I build the models!!!

In this case I have built a Nissan Skyline variant that is not easy to find as a scale model - especially as it is a 4-door model with modded up parts... As it is, I have built previously two Tamiya R32 GT-R Skyline (Godzilla) coupe models, both of which appear also in this video. My Honda Integra and Toyota Chaser models (from my previous vids) also make an appearance...

It was a very satisfying car to build, particularly as I had much influence from a lot of boy racer R32 Skylines roaming around my hometown. A few friends of mine have had them also, and I drove one once from Christchurch to Timaru, New Zealand...

Soundtrack is Sneaker Pimps "Spin Spin Sugar" (the studio version with Kelli Ali, not the terrible remix lol!) (1996)

  • I suck at building models... I just buy pre-fabbed ones now after trying to build a Q45 and majorly fucking it up.

  • Its all practice mate - Was it the paint that "fucked up"?

  • You got that right! I find it a great relaxing hobby, and I'm happy that I've found an outlet (YT) where they can be shown to many (I only use a 4megapixel digital still camera lol). I haven't done that that many Honda's, but expect to see vids of an Accord and Orthia soon, and I've got an unbuilt '88 CRX in the pipeline.

  • hey sup>???? where u buy all this cars to build ....?/

  • Department stores, toy shops, hobby shops, car dealerships - many different places lol...
