Reading Rainbow Funding Credits from 1987 with PBS Split ID

These are the funding credits for the children's educational TV show Reading Rainbow in 1987. Those funding it are Dayton Hudson Corporation, Target and Mervyn Department Stores, and Lechmere Retail Stores. All 3 stores at the time were owned by Dayton Hudson. Other groups funding Reading Rainbow are the Corporation for Public Broadcasting (CPB), National Science Foundation, and the Carnegie Corporation of New York. Interestingly, Lechmere went out of business in 1997.Also included in the clip is the PBS Dirty LOGO logo 1984 Split IDent of the mid eighties.

OMG! Thanks for posting one of the PBS logos (the one that usually used to say "This is PBS" - but not this one) with the closing funding! I think that was funny! I remember watching this show when I was a child and I usually watched it when I was in elementary school library! Don't believe all of these fundings because I never read 'em all! Great!
