  • Very nice guitar....and nice rendition. Curious....what kind of pick are you using and strings do you use:?

  • @vongibson1968 Thanks! By that time I was still using ordinary factory strings that already came with the guitar, but since then I favored D´Addario .11 flatwound electric guitar strings. As for the pick, it´s also pretty ordinary, just a Dunlop pick that I bought at a Queen show some years ago.

  • how do you need to strum ? just down up down the whole time ?

  • Generally speaking, yes, it´s just a pretty simple up-down strumming. But John adds some interesting variations in the "And when I tell you that I love you" part, as, for example, at 0:47

  • @minpinful Hmmm, maybe a Gibson J-160 :)

  • Ciao, muitos saludos do Centro America. I hope I wrote right. Great performance I love this song, it`sone of my favorites. I think you are missing a G7, in the bridge it goes Em-C-G-B7- Em-G-G7-C-D-G-Em-C-D. Try it.

  • Pretty cool mister!

  • @JakiRuuska

Yes he did. In the studio. The movie was just mimed.

  • Your strumming pattern is not right. Listen to Lennons up swing and accents.
