since its a 7.3 it wants it willingly torque converter and tranny might be saying help me though ;-)

AS long as the tranny dosen't get to hot this won't hurt it. Only 30-40% of braking comes from the rear, so this dosen't tear up the rear brakes too much. What it will hurt is the axel bearings. Under acc. the rear has time to get oil to the outer bearings. Freewheeling like this starves them of oil overheating them. If you don't do it back to back the damage is minimal. Have fun!!

yall are crazy if yall think power braking any vehicle doesn't hurt anything but tire tread and brakes. it will wear the rear end out so much it aint worth it. its fun and afew times won't oviosly wont do serious damage but i just wanted to put my 2cents in for wats its worth. (not smart to do it ith locked rear end and 35 boggers on pavement!)
