Geert Wilders (IPA: ['xe:rt 'ʋɪldərs], ['ʝe:ʁt 'ʋɪldəʁs]; born September 6, 1963) is a Dutch politician and leader of the Party for Freedom. Born of a German father on the border town of Venlo and raised a Roman Catholic, the young Geert Wilders formed many of his political views in his travels to Israel and the neighboring Arab countries. His early job at the Dutch social insurance agency moved him to politics, where he worked as a speechwriter for the liberal People's Party for Freedom and Democracy. In 1996, he moved to the city of Utrecht, and represented his pluralistic neighborhood in the city council, and later the House of Representatives of the Netherlands. There he was noted for his witty one-liners and outlandish blond hairstyle.

What he says is correct. The problem is that he is also a populist and not very intelligent which makes people disbelieving in what he claims about Islam. Also he should use more neutral words like Robert Spencer, instead of using "shocking" words like Fashism which lowers the level of the discussion and make it sound populist.

@IAMPontiusPilate So was Italy and the Vatican is there. Pretty much every other nation was predominantly Christian hiding behind the stategoat Geert is fighting to keep. Islamic nations screw up, but they screw up in the Name of God and they don't try to cover up that there is no authority but that which God has established and Muslims rise up when that authority gets out of line like any other free country as seen in Tunisia, Egypt, Libya and Syria recently to keep God's authority is in check.

@debzeppeliniv Yes, and in WW2, they fought against islamists that were on the side of hitler. It has been documented. In ww1, the Ottoman Empire was entirely islamic and was on the side of Germany. This war of islam versus the world is nothing new.

A valid point Geert makes is that it is not about hatred towards people (muslims) rather a rejection of the ideology with a directive to subjugate non-believers and control all aspects of their lives. Anyone who thinks he made that up hasn't read the quar'an and applied critical thinking to what it says.
